About the Department

The Westmoreland Fire Department is a volunteer fire department serving the Town of Westmoreland and surrounding communities. Our members respond to a wide range of emergencies, including structure fires, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, alarms, and other incidents requiring emergency assistance.

Our department trains regularly to maintain readiness, operate safely, and provide dependable service to the community.

Our Mission

The Westmoreland Volunteer Fire Department is dedicated to the safety and protection of our community’s quality of life, from all hazards, through a well-trained, diverse, professional, rapid response team, seeking opportunities to serve, and placing others before self.
